STAMFORD, Conn.—A healthy smile can be a revealing factor when it comes to overall health, especially when you consider the growing body of evidence that indicates a correlation between systemic and oral health.

Philips knows the importance of oral healthcare and the role that dental professionals can play in supporting the overall wellbeing of their patients. In an effort to extend this knowledge, Philips is hosting its second oral and overall health symposium on Friday, October 2 to discuss the latest research and evidence in the field of oral-systemic science.

“Philips believes that advanced research in collaboration with dental and medical professionals can make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives” said Alexander Harris, marketing director for Philips North America. “We recognize the importance of a strong oral healthcare routine to reduce risks associated with oral diseases and strive to develop practical tools to assist dental professionals in implementing the knowledge in a relevant way in both clinical practice and academia.”

Philips is pleased to host its second symposium to continue building the knowledge base of connected health, featuring presentations from nine key opinion leaders. These experts, renowned in their fields, will present medical and dental research as well as recommendations for overall health with clinical application.

Registration is $69.00 and is on a first come, first served basis. Prospective attendees must register before Friday, September 18, 2015 to reserve your seat.
