Las Vegas, NV – January 17, 2014 - Core3daCADemy, the educational arm of core3dcentres,
held its most recent aCADemy 1 “The Fundamentals of Scanning and Designing” program on
January 15 and 16, 2014 at CAPE - The Center for Advanced Professional Education in Las Vegas,
NV (Home of LVI – The Las Vegas Institute).
Designed by dental technicians for dental technicians, participants gained a comprehensive
understanding of all of the critical aspects of CAD/CAM technologies, digital dental workflow
(including the current state of intraoral scanning and leading edge materials) and how they will
impact the dental laboratory over the two days. All aCADemy courses feature a smaller class
size ensuring dedicated hands-on experience along with lecture-style instruction, allowing
instant feedback and tips and tricks that will increase participant’s design efficiency, thus
increasing their profitability.
Future sessions of aCADemy 1 “The Fundamentals of Scanning and Designing” are scheduled
for May 9 & 10 and Nov 14-15, 2014 in Las Vegas.
Core3dCentres also announced the 2014 dates for the latest program in its series - aCADemy 2
“Digital Implant and Implant Bar Design”. Building on the fundamentals developed in
aCADemy1, this two day hands-on course covers design essentials from custom abutment right
up to Full Contour Screw Retained Bars! aCADemy 2 courses are scheduled for March 14-15 and
July 11-12, 2014 in Las Vegas. As with all aCADemy programs, space is limited to 20 participants.
