WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Congressman Paul Gosar, DDS (AZ-01) announced his staff and officially opened his Washington and District Offices. Gosar is a freshman Member of the historic 112th Congress.
“I am so proud to serve the people of Arizona’s First Congressional District,” said Gosar. “I have assembled a seasoned team that will work diligently on behalf of Arizona. Each individual brings a strong skill set to the table and I am excited about the work that we will accomplish to move Arizona and our country forward. I also want to encourage individuals and organizations to reach out to any of my offices so that we can work together to find solutions to the problems that plague our nation.”
Congressman Paul Gosar’s District Team:
Penny Pew- Constituent Services Director: A native of Arizona, Pew resides in Show Low. With nearly twenty years experience as a manager, Pew worked as District Director for former Congressman Renzi and most recently as Constituent Services Representative for Congressman Gohmert. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Southwest Leadership for Public Policy Administration and has served as a Certified Election Officer for the Arizona Secretary of State.
Anthony Smith- District Legislative Assistant/Business Liaison: Smith most recently served as Gosar’s Director of Operations for the Congressman’s campaign and resides in Arizona. A graduate of Oregon State University, Smith has served as a manager for retail stores in the Northwest. He will be primarily based out of Gosar’s Prescott office and frequently traveling the district to meet with constituents and small businesses.
Rachel Aja- Casa Grande Office Manager: A native Arizonan, Aja most recently served on Gosar’s campaign as Director of Grassroots Development. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Aja has a wide breadth of experience including working for Kyle Moyer and Compant, the National Cattleman’s Beef Association, the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona, and on President Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign.
Julie Schreiner- Prescott Office Manager: Hailing from Dewey, Arizona, Schreiner most recently worked as a paralegal for Suits Law Firm in Prescott. With a wealth of experience in office management and managing communications, Schreiner brings her people-oriented skills to Gosar’s team. She will be managing the Prescott office, as well as meeting with constituents and working on casework.
Larry Renken- Field Representative/Caseworker: Renken is from Prescott Valley, Arizona and attended Yavapai College in Prescott. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Renken has small business experience and most recently worked for SunCor Development in Tempe. He will bring his team oriented skills to the office as he travels the district meeting with individuals and working on casework.
Congressman Paul Gosar’s Washington Team:
Rob Robinson- Chief of Staff: Robinson, a dentist, has served as Chairman of the American Dental Association Council on Government Affairs, President of the Alaska Dental Society, Ambassador to the Soviet Union for the American Dental Association (ADA) and as a National Delegate to the ADA. Robinson has worked with Gosar in numerous capacities through the ADA and most recently served as one of his advisors on his campaign for Congress.
Tom Van Flein- Legislative Director/Chief Legal Counsel: Van Flein, a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Law School, has previously worked and resided in Arizona. He most recently has served at a law firm in Alaska where he represented numerous health care providers and political figures. He also served as legal counsel for Gosar’s congressional campaign.
Stefani Zimmerman- Communications Director: Zimmerman most recently worked as Congressman Hal Rogers’ Communications Director and served as Gosar’s Communication Director on his congressional campaign. A graduate of Hillsdale College, she has worked on campaigns for Congressman Mike Rogers, Governor Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, and Senator John Sununu.
Tiffany Dinneen- Scheduler/Office Manager: Prior to joining Gosar’s office, Dinneen was Manager of Partnerships at Military Families United. She spent years working in political fundraising at the National Republican Senatorial Community. She is a graduate of Casa Grande Union High School and received her bachelor’s degree in Communication from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.
Jeremy Harrell- Senior Legislative Assistant: Harrell previously worked for Congressman Turner as a Legislative and Communications Assistant. Graduating from Miami University, and currently attended graduate school at Johns Hopkins University, he has worked on the Where is Red? campaign and as an intern for Congressman Chabot.
Kelly Maughan Ferguson- Legislative Assistant: Receiving her bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University, Ferguson most recently worked as a Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Hal Rogers. Prior to coming to Capitol Hill, she worked as a research assistant for Holch and Erickson LLP in Washington were she handled a variety of issues including Native American affairs.
Michael Vincent Mansour II- Staff Assistant: Mansour most recently worked as a staff assistant for Congressman Linder, DDS. With a wide breadth of experience in Washington, Mansour has served for Congressman Tom Price, the Republican Governor’s Association and United States Senator Johnny Isakson. He received his degree from the University of Georgia.
