ARLINGTON, Wash.—Pacific Northwest Client Services, a new company offering doctors anywhere in the U.S. easier filing and faster payment of medical insurance claims, is now open for business. The company’s owner and operator, Sarah Durbin, said her company will handle the entire insurance billing process for a health care practice, including filing the claims, following rejected or denied claims, and collecting unpaid claims.

"In the health care field, filing insurance claims has become a major part of office procedure,” said Durbin. “However, many doctors don’t have the training or time to understand the complicated and often-changing rules and regulations surrounding insurance. This is why our service is essential. Our company brings expertise in this field, enabling medical offices to concentrate on patients instead of on insurance.”

Electronic claims filing can reduce the turnaround time between mailing claims and receipt of payments from several weeks to a few days as insurance carriers pay electronic claims before paper claims.

“It only makes sense then to switch to electronic claim filing if you’re not already doing so,” said Durbin. “It’s a very important first step to improving the overall efficiency of your practice.”

In addition to insurance billing, PNW Client Services offers transcription, document management, remote data backup, credentialing, audit preparation, patient well-care services, and advanced billing and EHR software.

“There’s no one-size-fits-all mentality here at our company. One practice might benefit from just one service. Another might benefit from multiple services. And another might not need our services at all. Whatever the case may be, we only want what’s best for a practice,” said Durbin. “Our ultimate goal is to streamline a practice—to make it as efficient and stress-free as possible so doctors and staff can provide quality care to their patients. And from this are two bonuses we also hope to achieve: better work-life balance for doctors and staff, and—for those retiring soon or wondering if and when they’ll be able to retire—a successful and profitable practice that’s more likely to sell in the future.”
