CAESY Enterprise is the first of its kind in software programming. An additional linking feature allows the doctor and staff to connect any of the more than 170 modules into a patient-specific educational treatment plan presentation. These presentations enable patients to see the treatment options, and images of cases similar to theirs that were successfully treated. Each treatment plan presentation can be saved for future use on similar cases and immediately recalled like any regular CAESY presentation. “Plus every module has a full color printable version that is customized with the dental practice’s office information," Rondeau said. This new technology also enables the doctor to create and save a personal library of custom links. For example, a presentation that links the ‘cracked tooth syndrome’ diagnosis to the ‘all porcelain crowns’ procedure to the ‘post operative instruction for crowns’ module can be saved as a single unit for future use on similar cases. With CAESY Enterprise, one click will now launch all three modules as one seamless presentation.
CAESY Enterprise offers another level of flexibility, from workstation to workstation. “Each staff member can have their own version of CAESY running from the server to their computer, “ said Rondeau. “Staff members and doctors alike can configure their workstation with their own favorite presentations ready to play at the click of a button.” The “'Previews'” feature—a continuously running screen saver—can also be adapted to fit the specific needs of the user. “A hygienist can have a 'Previews' loop that emphasizes the importance of regular checkups and brushing and flossing techniques, while the doctor’s treatment rooms could be looping cosmetic whitening and porcelain veneer cases,” Rondeau said. And even while its being utilized throughout the practice, CAESY Enterprise can simultaneously send a video signal of The Smile Channel directly to a television in the reception area.
