Some recent threads include:
I’m not suggesting that all dentists feel this way, all the time. However, I do believe
we all feel this way at some point, and these feelings
sow the seeds of burnout. When dental professionals
experience burnout, there can be many unwanted
outcomes: losing good team members, substance abuse,
mental illness or divorce.
The nature of our profession is to find problems,
identify disorder and perform at a high level of precision.
You might be familiar with Marie Kondo, the organization
guru who directs us to ask if an item “sparks joy” to
evaluate whether it should stay in our home or be cast

enjoying this profession once again.
Use the list below as a scorecard to identify positive

moments, you will be well on the way
to a higher level of satisfaction with
this wonderful profession.
