If you're alone on Valentine's Day, just remember that all that expensive chocolate is going to be on clearance the day after. The silver lining is much better when it's made out of sugar.

It's okay that you're alone on Valentine's Day. It's not like anyone loves you on the other days of the year either.

Remember, it's not what you do for that special person on Valentine's Day, but the jealousy that you provoke in others.

Don't be fooled by your wife's New Year's resolution diet. It's just her attempt to get diamonds instead and chocolate on Valentine's Day. And ladies, it's your husband's attempt to get permission for that new car.

True love is finding the person you can hold hands with…with the hands that aren't already holding phones.

The gift of "letting you off the hook" is not an acceptable trade for you not getting him or her anything at all on Valentine's Day.

Make a plan to leave work early on Valentine's Day so it looks like you have important plans. We all know you're just going home to post on Dentaltown.

Roses are red, violets are fine, oh look, there's wine.
