Aseptico, Inc. announces improved features now integrated into the model Transport II portable dental delivery system. The Transport II is a complete electric dental unit contained within an impact resistant carrying case with built-in wheels and telescopic handle (10.5” x 15.4” x 24”), weighing 44 lbs. New features include a water-cooled micromotor drill/syringe and high volume waste fluid suction/ejector system, among others. The Transport II unit can be easily carried on board airliners and stored in overhead compartments. Aseptico’s military version, Transport MDS, is equipped with a double layered, hi-impact carry case.
Transport II 2006 features and options:
• Dual voltage electric system operates on 110V or 220V (automatic switching). Automatic switching prevents accidental voltage damage to equipment. An on/off foot switch is included.
• Powerful, brushless E-type micro motor handpieces (autoclavable) with internal irrigation, designed for high and low speed applications. Fiber optic lighting system is available as an option.
• Three-way syringe powered to increase water and air-flows to 40 psi, on reduced size/weight internal compressor.
• Separate high and low volume vacuum waste containers provide ample vacuum waste capacity and the ability to operate high volume and saliva ejector vacuum systems simultaneously.
• Automatic waste detection shut-off system prevents waste container overflow, while protecting the compressor and reducing risk of contamination.
• Both water and air systems are filtered providing increased and continuous aseptic operation.
• An ultrasonic scaler for hygiene/tooth cleaning is offered as an option.
