Meet the true all-in-one irrigation system

The introduction of mechanized rotary motors has reduced instrumentation time from 20–40 minutes to as few as three to five minutes. This time-saving innovation leaves a central issue to be solved: fast instrumentation leaves less time for proper canal irrigation and disinfection—the cornerstone of endodontic treatment.

Pac-Dent’s iVac apical negative-pressure irrigation and activation system combines the three fundamentals of mechanical irrigation: concomitant irrigation, mechanical activation and negative pressure. The iVac system prevents the risk of liquid extrusion into periapical tissues and activates the fluid inside the canal.

The system comprises an aspiration/activation cannula with two outside diameter options. The cannula’s tip is positioned inside the canal at the working length. While connected to a piezo ultrasonic scaler, it vibrates to activate the liquid, which flows into the canal along the external surface of the cannula and is recollected at the tip.

The iVac is an affordable, easy-to-use system that provides proper canal irrigation and disinfection that prevents liquid extrusion.
