VacuVue HVE Mirror
Ascentcare’s VacuVue HVE mirror was designed as a solution to many problems that dental professionals face, such as reducing bioaerosols produced during routine procedures, while simultaneously maintaining functionality and simplicity.

The patent-pending design includes an optimally angled mirror head for retraction and ideal views and a triangular comfort grip that allows for increased agility and maneuverability. To keep the new HVE mirror simple to use and maintain, it was engineered to be quickly installed at each operatory using a dentist’s current HVE valves.

The replaceable mirror faces offer scratch resistance, 99% color accuracy and a 40% brighter view than a standard dental mirror. The mirror is constructed of durable, lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum.

CleanJoy
Voco recently introduced CleanJoy, a minimally abrasive prophy paste with fluoride and xylitol that is free of parabens, gluten and nuts, reducing allergy risks.

CleanJoy’s fine dual-filler technology allows for gentle, effective stain removal. The optimized filler particles lead to a smoother patient experience as well as optimized splatter-control for the clinician. All grits are within ADA-recommended RDA values, preserving tooth structure and making cleaning and polishing as minimally invasive as possible.

CleanJoy comes in single-dose cups packaged in a dispenser box. It is available in caramel, fresh mint and cherry flavors and in three grits—fine, medium and coarse—that are color-coded for quick and easy identification. CleanJoy has a stable, homogenous consistency and will not clump or dry out.

CS 8200 3D
The CS 8200 3D by Carestream Dental includes 2D panoramic imaging, CBCT imaging, 3D object scanning and optional cephalometric imaging with the added enhancements of larger fields of view and advanced algorithms.

Six selectable fields of view, from 4-by-4cm to 12-by-10cm, cover daily clinical applications and more advanced treatments. The extended volume sizes can capture full-arch images, including third molars, in a single scan for performing complex implant cases, periodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Tomosharp technology generates sharp panoramic images, even when the patient is not perfectly aligned. Advanced noise reduction reduces image noise while preserving clinical details. Optional CS MAR software reduces metal artifacts caused by implants and dental fillings and provides a unique tool to compare live images with and without CS MAR applied.
