Goby
Goby, a New York City-based oral care startup, recently launched a direct-to-consumer rechargeable electric toothbrush.

The company partnered with a design team, consulted with dentists, and utilized oral care research to develop a modern and functional electric toothbrush that maximizes consumers' oral health and minimizes frustrations.

Goby has rotationally oscillating technology and the subscription-based model automatically sends customers new brush heads. The two-minute timer utilizes four 30-second intervals to guide users' brushing through the four quadrants of the mouth.

The toothbrush includes a modular brush stand with a removable drip tray, a premium battery to increase run time and a patent-pending charging system with a removable charging shell to minimize the need for cords in the bathroom.

Kidz Seal-America
Taub Products announced the launch of Kidz Seal-America at the Greater New York Meeting in November. Kidz Seal-America is a pit and fissure sealant that can be used in either a dry or wet field. It is tooth integrating, which does not allow microleakage and offers long-lasting retention. The product is low-viscosity and self-adjusting so no additional occlusal adjusting is needed.

Kidz Seal-America comes in a package containing four 1.2ml syringes and twenty tips and is available through authorized dental dealers nationwide.

Rockstas
Rockstas was created as an alternative to the traditional teeth stickers that are handed out to reward pediatric dental patients and helps market your practice in a unique way. The product, a removable tooth sticker or strip, is easy to apply and simply peels off.

Each pack contains 105 stickers with an assortment of individual stickers and strips. The sticker or strip is applied at the end of the dental appointment by the dentist, dental assistant or dental hygienist. The upper anterior teeth must be air dried which is necessary for good adhesion. Patients can share on social media and essentially market for the dental office.

The product is made from a safety-tested, non-toxic backing and is not recommended for children under 4. The individual stickers last up to four hours and the strips slightly less. Individual stickers adhere best to permanent centrals.

Thermo Clone VPS
Ultradent Products recently released Thermo Clone VPS impression material, a bubblegum-scented vinyl polysiloxane impression material that aims to make impression taking easier with consistent setting times and thermal set curing that activates when placed in the patient’s mouth.

Thermo Clone VPS works with all automatic mixing machines and is temperature sensitive. It allows for long working time, a short setting time, and minimal time in the critical zone where distortions occur. It is also hydrophilic, ensuring precision in every impression by displacing moisture so the material can reach every part of every tooth. The material's high tear strength allows clinicians to remove it from a patient's mouth without being worried about breaks or tears, while also demonstrating dimensional stability, maintaining its shape during transfer to the dental lab.
