Sterngold Dental Announces 2016 Hands-On Attachment Courses
Sterngold Dental has announced its 2016 three-day hands-on attachment course schedule.

The attachment course is designed for dentists and technicians. This intensive three-day program will leave attendees confident in their ability to design, prescribe and fabricate attachment-retained prostheses. Through slide presentations, case design, and hands-on work, attendees will be given a broad view of attachment application in partial dentures, overdentures, implants, and segmented bridgework.

Attachment courses will be held April 14-16 and October 6-8, 2016 in Attleboro, Massachusetts at Sterngold's headquarters. Twenty-one CE credits will be awarded upon completion.

To maximize individual instruction, each course is limited to 15 participants and it is recommended that those interested make reservations several months in advance.

To register, and for more information call (800) 243-9942.

Dental Practices and Companies Invited to Join National Smile Drive
Dental practices and companies across the country are invited to join America's ToothFairy: National Children's Oral Health Foundation in a national campaign held throughout February, National Children's Dental Health Month.

This effort, the America's ToothFairy Smile Drive, promotes the importance of dental health and collects toothbrushes, toothpaste and other oral-care products for underserved children.

America's ToothFairy launched its first Smile Drive in 2014, and since then has collected more than 660,000 oral-care products for children nationwide. Last year, Smile Drives were held at dental practices, companies, schools, pharmacies, community centers and more, with all donations benefiting underserved children.

Though the Smile Drive is a national campaign, local impact is a key component. Participating practices and businesses select a local non-profit organization of their choice to receive their donations and personally deliver them—a great opportunity for employee and community engagement.

Past Smile Drive recipients include local shelters, food banks, Boys and Girls Clubs, clinics and other youth-serving organizations. Anyone interested in participating in the Smile Drive should complete a brief online registration form that will grant access to a free Smile Drive Toolkit with downloadable flyers, templates and other tools for promotion. All Smile Drive participants will be recognized in the National Smile Drive Directory.

To register for the Smile Drive, visit AmericasToothFairy.org or call (800) 559-9838.
