PreviDent 5000 Booster Plus
PreviDent 5000 Booster Plus is the latest addition to the prescription - only PreviDent home fluoride system from Colgate. Ideal for high-risk caries patients, PreviDent Booster 5000 Plus contains 1.1% sodium fluoride, FluoriGard technology and tricalcium phosphate. The new formula has been shown in in-vitro pH cycling studies to provide better remineralization after 10 days. The system produces a temporary shift in pH to promote fluoride uptake in the oral cavity; Booster Plus 5000 was also shown to deliver an 86 percent improvement in enamel fluoride uptake versus Colgate's previous PreviDent formula. C3 LED and Beamer 10-watt LED Light Source
High Q announces the release of the C3 LED and Beamer 10-watt LED Light Source. The C3 LED offers an option for dentists with High Q's Centauri Portable Halogen system to update from halogen to LED while keeping the same features of Centauri. Clients who work with fiber optics can update those units moving from a halogen light source to the Beamer 10-watt LED source to increase intensity, which allows for a “whiter” field that eliminates the cost of replacement lamps by moving to LED. Dental Work Specialty Floss
Dr. Collins, Inc., launches Dental Work
Specialty Floss for patients who find flossing
difficult after undergoing dental work. Daily
flossing is vital for proper oral care, but those
with braces, bridges, implants or large interdental
spaces might struggle to floss correctly.
The Dental Work Specialty Floss has a built-in
threader that slides through hard-to-reach
areas, allowing the thick, sponge-like floss to
follow through and clean deeply. The floss is
available on a spool rather than in pre-cut
strands to allow for maximum comfort. To
learn more, visit www.drcollins.com.
