A Low-speed Handpiece With a Built-in Apex Locator

This lightweight and compact tailor-made handpiece is designed for enhanced performance. The Dentaport ZX offers nine speed settings, from no rotation up to 400rpm, 11 torque settings and 3 automatic safety functions.

The clinician may operate the Dentaport ZX as a low-speed handpiece to:
• Make flares and prepare the upper portion of the canal
• Shape and clean root canals while monitoring the file’s position inside the canal
• Measure the length of the root canal using the apex locator

FEATURES & BENEFITS
The Dentaport ZX allows the micromotor handpiece to be controlled in a variety of ways. The root canal can be enlarged and prepared with great precision.

Adjustable Speed
Nine speed settings from no rotation to 400rpm can be selected.

Torque Control
There are 11 settings available for the value of the torque that will trigger the Auto Torque Reverse function. The Auto Torque Reverse function can be turned off.

Tailor-Made Handpiece
Lightweight (70g) and compact (head length 12.5mm) handpiece is designed for enhanced performance. The motor is extremely quiet.

Auto Apical Reverse And Stop
The file either reverses its rotation or stops when the file tip reaches a distance from the apex preset by the clinician. When Auto Apical Reverse function is triggered, the interval between stopping and rotation reversing can be set.

Auto Torque Reverse
The file automatically reverses its rotation when the torque load reaches a specified preset value.

Auto Apical Slow Down
The file automatically slows down as it approaches the apex so the region near the apical foramen can be treated with a slow gentle rotation. This function can also be turned off.

Auto Start And Stop
The file automatically starts to rotate when it is inserted into a root canal and stops when it is removed.

Adjustable Volume
Audible signal volume can be adjusted.

Foot Pedal Control
A foot pedal is included for optional use
