NEW! Impression of the Edentulous and Implant Overdenture

This presentation will present a layering impression method utilizing several viscosities to accomplish both the functional and mucostatic properties required for proper mandibular and implant removable prosthesis. The method will describe a oneappointment procedure delivering superior detail of both hard and soft tissues and implant fixtures.

Educational objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
  • Distinguish between the methods of the past with custom trays and today’s thermoplastically designed stock trays.
  • Describe why the mucostatic impression method comes short of definitive predictability.
  • Identify the appropriate uses of the various viscosities of impression materials.
  • Describe the differences between the totally edentulous impression method and the immediate denture impression.
  • Identify the method of making implant overdenture impressions without custom trays and obtaining accuracy that is repeatable.

Bioceramic Technology –
Advanced Instrumentation and Bonded Obturation

Speaker: Drs. Ali Nasseh, Dennis Brave and Kenneth Koch


This course specifically demonstrates how a clinician (Dr. Nasseh) combines an advanced instrumentation technique with a bonded obturation method. A full discussion of bioceramic technology ensues with Drs. Koch and Brave upon completion of the clinical aspect of the presentation.
