Endo-Eze AET–

Changing our point of view can remind us that reality is often different than perception. A radiograph shot from mesial to distal vs. our customary clinical view shows us that canals are often NOT the tapering cylinder that appears in clinical x-rays.

Perception Reality Picts
The buccal view of the canal appears to be round in the cross section throughout its length. The same root rotated 90 degrees and viewed from the mesial shows the canal is not round in cross section. This anatomical reality demonstrates the need for a system which will treat the complete canal, thus listening to the needs of the tooth.

Rotary Preparation

Dentin removal required, should one attempt to
instrument the entire canal.

Conventional instrumentation (twist-pull), or rotary NiTi often does not clean and shape the entire canal. Tooth structure can be unnecessarily removed even to the point of jeopardizing the integrity of the tooth by over thinning the dentin walls.

Rotary Preparation

    1) Less invasive
    2) Addresses all canal walls more evenly
    3) Reduced chance of separation–if instrument separates, easier to retrieve because
instrument is not “screwed” into canal.

Endo-Eze Reciprocating Handpiece

The Endo-Eze Handpiece uses:

  • A reciprocating/oscillating motion. This is significantly less aggressive than a rotary
motion and facilitates uniform instrumentation of all the walls of the canal
  • Built-in internal water spray is available for continuous flushing of debris and cleaning
of files to improve cutting efficiency
  • Push button chuck facilitates the insertion of shaping files. Allowing quick, simple
working length adjustment, while providing a secure grip A milling (not drilling) motion
is used with AET to clean and shape the canal’s anatomical space.
