Minimal Intervention Dentistry in the New Millennium

In this course, we will describe the philosophy of Minimal Intervention Dentistry (MID) and the products used to manage and prevent oral diseases. MID techniques will be presented that can be used with the challenges we encounter in clinical practice. These include vital pulp therapy, the sandwich technique and an MID remineralization technique. MID clinical protocols for managing and preventing dental caries will be presented, illustrated with clinical cases.

- Be able to prescribe therapeutic products for the management and prevention of oral diseases
- Understand the concept of internal remineralization
