CHICAGO—The Chicago Dental Society (CDS) has opened registration for the 2027 Midwinter Meeting, scheduled for Feb. 25–27 at McCormick Place West. CDS said this year’s updates center on the scientific program.

New this year is the Midwinter Meeting Digital Pass, which offers unlimited on-demand access to recorded lectures. Pass holders can earn up to 94.5 CE credits through eligible content, and the pass can be purchased separately from meeting registration by those unable to attend in person.

The scientific program includes more than 240 courses led by 149 speakers, about half of whom are new to the meeting. It also features more than 50 hands-on workshops, curated learning pathways, expanded wellness programming on health, ergonomics, and career longevity, and a partnership with The Pankey Institute.

In the Exhibit Hall, Relax and Recharge Lounges, Hadley’s Pet Park, and expanded food and drink options return from last year. The Early Career Dentist Lounge and Dental Student Lounge will have a new location and layout.

Figure skating champions and Olympic broadcasters Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir will headline the keynote session. Returning events include the Dental Student Reception and the Smile and Shine Hygienist Luncheon, and new Dine-Arounds will pair networking with meals at Chicago restaurants.
