VANCOUVER, Wash.—CAESY Education Systems, A Patterson Company, will release CAESY Enterprise 5.0 at the 2005 Chicago Dental Society’s Midwinter Meeting. New Smile Channel presentations, extended media support and improved user interface for CAESY at Home, as well as updated CAESY Patient Education presentations and an innovative interface with Patterson EagleSoft software make this release the definitive patient education experience. Exciting, industry-leading features found in Enterprise 5.0 include: • CAESY Patient Education, the anchor product in the Enterprise suite, will feature new before-and-after gallery images, submitted by some of the country’s leading esthetic dentists. Four new multimedia presentations on neuromuscular dentistry have been added. The user also will find a new and updated multimedia presentation on CEREC CAD/CAM. Like on Smile Channel, all the multimedia presentations are available in English or Spanish, all on the same platform. A key new feature with Enterprise 5.0 is the ability to access CAESY presentations through Patterson EagleSoft practice management software, which allows Patterson EagleSoft users the ability to create more robust treatment plans for their patients.
• CAESY at Home (CAH) has an improved user interface, making the software even easier to use. CAH will include extended media support—with Enterprise 5.0, users will now be able to import their own audio and video files, as well as Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and Adobe PDF files. Using CAESY at Home, imported files can then be compiled prior to burning them onto a patient CD and a custom logo image can be imported for the patient CD label.
• Smile Channel is now longer, running one hour and fifty minutes. Four new presentations have been added and 38 have been updated with many new high quality before-and-after photos. New and updated topics include lasers, CEREC CAD/CAM, air abrasion, microdentistry, power whitening, digital radiography, HIPAA, Invisalign, and oral conscious sedation. The presentations are available in both English and Spanish.
