Patterson Foundation Awards Nearly $160,000 in Grants to Advance Access to Dental Care

ST. PAUL, Minn.—Every quarter, the Patterson Foundation awards grants to support charitable programs in the oral health and animal health fields.

At the most recent board meeting in September, the Patterson Foundation awarded eight grants totaling $158,350 to nonprofit organizations focused on providing dental care to disadvantaged communities across the U.S.

Among the grantees were two long-time partners of the Patterson Foundation. Operation Grace MN received $60,000 for its mobile dental clinic, which provides care to underserved children and adults in the Twin Cities metro area.

Additionally, America’s Dentists Care Foundation received $58,000 to purchase a trailer and crates for the transport of dental equipment to Mission of Mercy (MOM) clinics throughout the country.

- America’s Dentists Care Foundation – Wichita, Kan.
- Cook Children’s Health Foundation – Fort Worth, Texas
- MSDA C&E Foundation – Columbia, Md.
- Operation Grace MN – Roseville, Minn.
- Physicians CareConnection – Columbus, Ohio
- San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic – San Antonio, Texas
- University of Cincinnati Foundation – Blue Ash, Ohio

Additional grants will be awarded by the Foundation Board of Directors in December.
