BACD Recommended Meeting: ‘Well supported’
Dr. James Robson is a regular attendee of the recommended meetings hosted in Yorkshire by the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).
‘What interested me about the most recent meeting was that the session focused on keeping up-to-date with the digital workflow, combining this with comprehensive treatment planning and diagnostics,’ Robson says.
‘The venue for the meeting was around 50 miles from my home, near Thirsk, so there were a lot of Leeds-based BACD members in attendance.
‘This latest session fulfilled my expectations as the course content and learning outcomes matched the aims and objectives well.
‘Both speakers were knowledgeable, explaining their presentation clearly with a good range of case studies to illustrate techniques. They shared their enthusiasm for their work by keeping the audience engaged and motivated.
‘There was plenty of time allocated for discussion and both speakers were approachable during breaks.
‘Overall, I think that attendance for the regional meetings is good and they are well supported. I know that many people visit from outside of the local area due to the high calibre of speakers that the BACD presents.
‘I routinely share details of meetings on Facebook and I feel that the BACD maintains a strong presence on social media.
‘There is no doubt that I will continue to attend meetings regularly.’
The BACD hosts recommended meetings in various locations across the country, covering a wide scope of topics and interests.
