Dentaltown is a huge name in global
dental media. To be a part of developing it
in the UK as the editor of DentaltownUK has been hard work, but it continues to be a
hugely rewarding and enjoyable experience.
The editorial board and contributors have
been first-class. Thank you all!
Our aims and objectives as a magazine
are fairly simple:
-
Provide a high standard and good
variety of content that dentists and
team members will want to read.
-
Make it as easy as possible to access
the magazine, free of charge.
-
Encourage as many dentists and dental team members from a variety of demographics to access and engage with the m ine.
-
Encourage more UK dentists and
team members to take full advantage
of the free Dentaltown forum and its
message boards, classified ads, etc.
-
Sell enough advertising space to
fund the magazine overheads while
providing great product and service
exposure to our readers without
creating an overload of adverts.
We launched only six months ago, and
the feedback we receive by email and on social
media after each issue has been positive and
encouraging.
Here’s a message from
Dr. Howard Farran, the
founder and CEO of
Dentaltown, regarding
our six-month milestone:
Mike, I am thrilled with your
successful launch of DentaltownUK! We are so excited to bring
this magazine and our online
community to the dentists in the
UK. Congratulations on your first
six months of publishing, and I look
forward to connecting with our fellow
dentists on the message boards. That camaraderie and connection
with peers is what truly lifts our
profession to new levels, and creates
opportunities for us to be better
dentists.
See you online!
That said, it’s time for DentaltownUK’s
six-month checkup. We’ve constructed a short
survey that will help us understand what
you want from DentaltownUK and whether
we’re achieving our aims and objectives.
So, thank you in advance for helping us
with our checkup! It will only take you a few
minutes to complete the simple, completely
anonymous survey.
We’ll publish a summary of the results
in a future issue, with a breakdown of our
‘treatment plan’ for the future.
