CDA Presents
The Art and Science of Dentistry

The California Dental Association’s (CDA) biannual conventions were established more than 100 years ago. Previously known as Scientific Sessions, CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry is held twice each year, once in Anaheim and once in San Francisco. This year’s Anaheim convention will be held May 13-16, 2010, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Highlights of CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry
Registration
  • ADA members pay just $200 for advance registration and CDA members don't pay a registration fee at all.
Continuing Education
  • Earn Continuing Education credits in over 100 ADA CERP classes.
  • Required courses for infection control and the California Dental Practice Act occur once each day, Thursday-Sunday.
    • Infection Control for California – Fee: $20.
    • California Dental Practice Act – Fee: $20.
Exhibit Hall
The CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry Exhibit Hall will offer nearly 600 exhibitors all under one roof featuring the latest in dental technology, products and services.
  • Grand Opening of the Exhibit Hall: Friday, 9:30 a.m.
  • Exhibit Hall Hours: Friday and Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Sunday, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
“The Spot” Lounge
  • Located in Hall D of the Exhibit Hall is the contemporary lounge for you to learn, network and have fun. You can earn CE credit, see new products, plan your office renovation, check your e-mail, or enjoy a cup of coffee and relax with friends.
Special Events
  • CDA Night at Disney
    • Enjoy an exclusive party for CDA Presents attendees and their guests at Disney. Kick the evening off with your choice of many food and beverage options. For more information, visit www.cdapresents.com
    • Friday, May 14, 7-11 p.m. Fee: $65

  • WineFUNdamentals Wine Party Reception
    • Enjoy learning about wine with interactive activities at each of the wine tables and put your new wine knowledge to the test and win some prizes playing a wine trivia game.
    • Located at The Spot in Exhibit Hall D on Saturday, May 15, 4-5:30 p.m. Fee: $25.
Children’s Program
  • CDA is pleased to offer a children’s program by KiddieCorp for children aged six months to 12 years during the Anaheim show May 13-16, 2010 and will be located at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel.
