Elexxion Claros Digital-Pulse Diode Laser
The Elexxion Claros Digital-Pulse Diode Laser was first introduced in 2003 and is currently sold in 15 countries throughout Europe and Asia and will now be available in the United States in early February 2008. With as much as 30 watts of output power and 20,000 Hz of variable digital pulsing, this patented technology provides the optimum combination of power and pulse rate. Higher energy pulses mean better connection with the tissue. Shorter pulses and longer pauses between pulses result in minimal tissue damage. For more information call Patterson Dental at 800-873-7683.

Composi-Tight Matrix Forceps
Composi-Tight Matrix Forceps from Garrison Dental Solutions combines a properly angled tip design for easy band placement with tungsten carbide tips for extra gripping strength to aid in band removal. The tips have a 75-degree angle with an occlusal-gingival orientation, providing a more appropriate placement angle than cotton forceps. Also available in a straight tip design the serrated tungsten carbide tips offer better gripping strength than hemostats for removing matrices from tight contacts or bonded matrices.
