I've always wanted to create a lecture on how to "read literature". And an essential part of that is understanding critical thinking. Jason has done an exceptional job teaching that in this presentation.
This is a good introduction to thinking

I liked Dr Luchtefeld presentation and his discussion with Dr Glassman. It is a good starting point for the study knowledge and ignorance. It was good to mention confirmational bias. See ""Thinking fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman and "Fly"by Richard de Crespigne. In multi-factorial processes such as TMD, where you cannot control all the variables, I have found the weakest link always breaks first. The same with the links in an argument or logic. There are 5 main systems involved in TMD, each one can trigger a reaction in the other 4. Then you have to figure out is the patient depressed because of the chronic pain being registered in the neuro-muscular system? Or as Drs Luchtefeld / Glassman suggested, the patient has overwhelmed their adaptive capacity.
