Description of Speaker:
Dr. Griffin is a solo General Dentist who focuses on work/life balance to be present for his family as much a possible. In 2007 Dr. Griffin was feeling the effects of the daily grind on his personal and professional life. That led him to cut his Dental Workweek down from 5 days per week to 3 days per week starting in 2008. Much to his surprise, his practice grew by 20% that year even though he worked much less.
In 2009 Dr. Woody Oakes coined Dr. Griffin the ‘Most Efficient Man in Dentistry’ and featured him at his Fall Seminar. That exposure launched him into a secondary career as a dental speaker, sharing his message of working less and making more to dentists all across the country.
Besides speaking, Dr. Griffin loves to write. Some of his more notable accomplishments in that arena have been his 7 year stint as a columnist for The Profitable Dentist magazine, his publication of the article, “The Economics of Efficiency,” in Dental Economics, his co-authorship the book, The Secret of Success: Not Just for Dentists, with Dr. Howard Farran, Founder of Dentaltown and Dr. Sam Puri, co-Founder of CEREC Doctors. Dr. Griffin also publishes the Winning Dentist, which is available on all Apple and Android devices and hosts a podcast as a companion to that publication called The Dr. Chris Griffin Show, that was downloaded over 10,000 times during Season 1 in 2016.
Acquiring AGD PACE Certification in 2009, he has hosted dental CE events since with thousands of doctors in lecture attendance and over 100 doctors who have traveled to his office for hands-on workshops.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
