Jeff Krupp’s "Success in Endodontics" is an evidence-based online endodontic textbook that shortens the learning curve to do predictable and successful endodontics. In this module, one will be able to further appreciate the techniques and armamentarium for appropriate coronal access. The module utilizes various diagrams, clinical footage, and animations leading to a three-dimensional understanding of the occlusal reduction, chamber access, and instrumentation approaching the canal’s middle third preparation. Techniques are explained and demonstrated by clinical HD footage and animation video, allowing the clinician enhanced understanding of canal orifice identification.

The course continues strong with detailed explanations regarding coronal access, occlusal reduction, chamber access and the beginning of canal instrumentation. Video in this lesson is incredibly helpful- it shows the procedures performed as well as examples of anatomic variation and instrumentation. Attention to detail as he begins discussing the mechanics of root canal treatment is much appreciated.
