Synopsis:
Join Dr. Jason Olitsky as he shares his philosophy for creating beautiful smiles with one of today’s contemporary direct composite materials. Learn how he balances patient demands for esthetics with the functional requirements of long-lasting, well-performing direct composite restorations.
During this technique-centered webinar, Dr. Olitsky will showcase posterior composite placement as well as diastema closure and direct anterior bonding involving multiple teeth. He will share his secrets to making composite materials blend invisibly with surrounding dentition, discuss application techniques and solve post-operative sensitivity issues.
Description of Speaker:
Dr. Jason Olitsky is a 2001 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry. He is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He lectures on portrait and clinical photography, marketing, and principles of smile design. He was a clinical mentor with The Hornbrook Group and currently lectures and clinically mentors hands-on live patient cosmetic programs with Gold Dust Clinical Mastery. He is adjunct faculty at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Dr. Olitsky has published articles in The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dentistry Today and Dental Town Magazine. He has been a featured cosmetic dentist in national magazines such as: In Style, Woman’s Health, Self, Fitness, Real Simple and Shape Magazine. He is currently Vice President and director of marketing for the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is co-author of the newly released book called The Naked Tooth: What Cosmetic Dentists Don’t Want You To Know. Dr. Olitsky maintains a private practice with wife Colleen in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:

- 2. Propose simplified techniques to maximize esthetics of a nanofill restorative composite.
