Dr. Pratt also stresses that while diet and exercise are important, total health is achieved by a network of efforts, where sleep and stress management can have just as much impact on one's daily health and functioning.
Dr. Pratt is currently a senior staff ophthalmologist at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, Calif. He has practiced medicine since 1981. Dr. Pratt received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1975, served his internship specializing in Internal Medicine and did his residency specializing in ophthalmology at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. He did his ophthalmology fellowship at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, and he was Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1981. Dr. Pratt received his board certification by the American Board of Holistic Medicine in 2007.
