This course discusses how to identify prospective patients for implant supported restoration, comprehensive treatment techniques, review cases, and more!
Description of Speaker:
Dr. Deliberato received his DDS degree from The Ohio State University in 1984. Following a one year general practice residency at the Cleveland, Ohio Veterans Administration, he Practiced General Dentistry in Lorain, Ohio for 6 months.
In 1989 Dr Deliberato began his Prosthodontic Residency at the Veterans Administration in Wilmington Delaware. He received his certificate in Fixed, Removable, and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics in 1988. He also completed an externship at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic in Pennsylvania. Also in 1989, he was positioned as an Associate Professor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. In 1990 he was appointed the Director of Fixed Prosthodontics and also served as the Director of the Advanced General Dentistry Residency.
Dr Deliberato entered into full time practice in 1993 in Rocky River Ohio before moving into his current office in Westlake, Ohio in 2005 where he maintains a private practice specializing in fixed, removable, and implant Prosthodontics. He has lectured extensively in Prosthodontics and implant dentistry
Dr. Deliberato resides in Independence with his wife Diane. They have four children.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
Identifying perspective patients for implant supported restorations. Case work up - A review of necessary records needed to make a diagnosis for both analog and digital workflows. Comprehensive treatment presentation techniques to educate the patients and improve case acceptance. Educating the patient so they can decide between full arch implant supported treatment and heroic full mouth rehabilitation of their natural dentition. Comprehensive review of treatment options and discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of each option. (Including Dentures, Snap-on locator and Novaloc over dentures, bar retained over dentures, Implant assisted partials, All-On-X hybrid restorations. Numerous case presentations demonstrating the above options will be presented. Step by step surgical and restorative protocols for full arch immediate load cases. The importance of the interdisciplinary team for complex implant cases. Improving communication between the lab and the restorative doctor. Illustrate the benefits of digital work flow over free-hand surgery.
