Synopsis:
This four-part book (10 CE credits) will be revolutionary because it brings to an end the ambiguity over what’s considered by dental boards and malpractice cases. Every dentist wants to know what’s expected for the procedures they do and the parameters for the standard of care. Consider this book a “bible” for standards of care and how not to get in hot water with the law while performing dentistry. Topics covered in detail include fixed and removable; oral surgery; oral conscious sedation; pediatric dentistry; local anesthetics; implant placement; hierarchy of restorative space required for different types of dental implants; vertical dimension of occlusion; and radiography. The course also provides samples of dental consultant reports. This is a must for all dentists and their staff to keep their patients safe from harm—and themselves safe from the law.
