ATLANTA—Tralongo, an Atlanta-based firm specializing in dental practice acquisitions, recently reached a development agreement with northeast Florida dentist, Dr. Stephen Strout. The agreement with Tralongo will assist Strout in obtaining up to 10 dental practices within the next 10 years and marks the firm’s third partnership in the state.

“We are looking forward to helping Dr. Strout reach the next level of his dentistry career through practice acquisition,” said Dr. Ken Tralongo, founder and CEO, Tralongo. “Dental health in Florida is highly regarded, with the fourth highest concentration of active dentists in the U.S. Not only is there plenty of opportunity for Dr.Strout to grow his practice, he will also be backed by our established, proprietary management systems that help mitigate problems, improve efficiency and cut cost, all while increasing profits.”

A graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Strout earned his DMD, MS in 2004. During his residency, he developed skills in guided tissue regeneration, implant surgery and periodontal plastic surgery and earned his master’s degree in oral biology. A leader in his field, Strout is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and has previously served as president of both the St. Augustine Dental Society and the Clay County Dental Society.

Operating the Advanced Periodontics and Implant Surgery practice in both St. Augustine and Orange Park, Florida, Strout intends to continue growing his practice throughout northeast Florida with help from Tralongo.

“Before I met with Tralongo, I was curious about expanding my passion for dentistry, but doing so in a way that wouldn’t require me to be in the chair every day,” said Strout. “Their business model was so appealing to me that I signed on shortly after my first meeting. By partnering with Tralongo, I look forward to acquiring multiple practices, honing my management skills and providing positive working opportunities for other area dentists.”
