MESA, Ariz.—On Feb. 6, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health and the Arizona Dental Foundation, will celebrate the 10th annual Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) event.

Hundreds of children in need of dental care will benefit from an array of services at the school’s dental clinic located in Mesa, Arizona.

Dental services will include cleanings, sealants, fillings and extractions. Care will be delivered at no charge by dental students, faculty and community volunteer dentists. Children will arrive by bus at 8 a.m. and will receive care until 1:30 p.m.

A.T. Still University will host this year's debut GKAS sponsored and attended by the American Dental Association. Following the Feb. 6 event, thousands of sites across the United States are expected to hold similar events where approximately 350,000 children will benefit from dental care.

GKAS is a national program, launched in 2003 by the ADA, as a way for dentists across the country to join with others in their community to provide dental services to children.
