NORTH BRANFORD, CT—Autac, Inc., a leading manufacturer of retractile cords, announces its Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) cords for dental applications. Durable and long-lasting, the PVC cords can be used on drills, water picks, and for various lighting purposes.

Customized to suit specific environments, PVC is non-toxic, waterproof, fire-retardant, corrosion-resistant, and chemical-resistant. The PVC cords are also recyclable. Available in 12-28 AWG, the cords can be designed to handle varying amounts of amperage.

The cords are featured in 12”, 24”, 36”, and 48”, which extend on a 1:5 ratio. Customized lengths and ratios are also available, up to a 12 foot retracted length extending 60 feet, to meet the user’s specific needs. The cords meet UL/CSA (Canadian Standards Association) specifications.
