Fast Growing Health Care Technology Company Will Occupy
One of Three Building in the Mixed Use Complex

InVivoLink, a health care technology company currently serving 36 health systems across 11 states, has leased an entire 7,500-square-foot building at The Sheds on Charlotte – becoming the first tenant to sign a lease at the mixed use complex developed by Holladay Properties partnership
Extending an entire city block, from 22nd to 23rd avenues, The Sheds on Charlotte is a row of 1940s era corrugated metal sheds which are being transformed into high-end office space by wrapping the sheds’ steel frames in expanses of clear and frosted glass, among other design elements created by architect Tuck Hinton. The complex comprises three buildings: a pair of two-story buildings containing 17,680 square feet each and the one-story building leased by InVivoLink.
“This is the perfect location for our rapidly growing company,” said InVivoLink Chief Operating Officer John Bass. “We were looking for distinctive space that would differentiate our company. Our products and services are very innovative. We feel like The Sheds is a great physical representation of our company and our culture. The space is flexible and open. It encourages movement and collaboration. Plus there’s plenty of convenient parking.
“A Charlotte location is ideal for us,” he added. “It’s right across the street from the largest concentration of medical providers in Nashville, anchored by two important clients – Centennial Hospital and St. Thomas Midtown – and just down the street from the planned One City health care technology campus. Charlotte Avenue is rapidly developing in a great way, and we look forward to watching the area grow around us.
“Plus, it is not far from our current location in Hillsboro Village, where several of our team members bike to work, so they’ll be able to easily bike to our new location, as well. This is actually pretty important to us, as we’ve been working with Tom Solinsky at SoundForest to create a bike friendly culture at InVivoLink. Tom and The Nashville Bicycle Alliance have donated a couple of bikes to our company that any staff member is welcome to use. Our employees love it and we look forward to building at stronger bicycle culture at The Sheds,” Bass said.
Bass said that InVivoLink plans to soon begin its build-out and be in the new space by late summer. InVivoLink’s build-out was designed by architect Nick Dryden of DA|AD, who also designed another Holladay/Wenzler industrial-to-office renovation: the Sawtooth Building – a former warehouse at 2030 Lindell Ave that is the home of Griffin Technology.
InVivoLink was represented in the transaction by broker Bo Tyler with Jones Lane LaSalle commercial real estate firm. The Sheds on Charlotte was represented by Allen Arender of Holladay Properties and Ronnie Wenzler of Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate Services.
“We are excited to announce this first lease at The Sheds on Charlotte. A dynamic health care technology company like InVivoLink is exactly the kind of tenant we envisioned for this property,” Arender said. “Though InVivoLink took an entire building, there are still two large, light-filled buildings available for other companies wishing to make their home in the most interesting and innovative space office and retail space now available in Nashville.”
