CHICAGO, March 24, 2014 — The ADA Practice Institute is pleased to announce that Krishna Aravamudhan, BDS, MS, has accepted the position of Director, Council on Dental Benefit Programs in the Practice Institute.
In her new role, Dr. Aravamudhan oversees activities of the Council and its affiliated interagency efforts. In her previous role, Dr. Aravamudhan served in the lead role for the Dental Quality Alliance (DQA) and built relationships with federal partners and third party payers to advance the mission of the DQA.
In addition to her work with the DQA, Dr. Aravamudhan also worked in the Science Institute where she directed the ADA’s evidence-based Clinical Recommendations Program, organized and led multi-disciplinary panels to develop evidence-based clinical recommendations, as well as directed activities relating to the evaluation of products for the Professional Product Review within the ADA laboratories.
Dr. Aravamudhan completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Bangalore University and her Master of Science degree from the School of Dentistry at University of Alabama.
In 2013, she was also named to the Association Forum of Chicagoland and USAE 40 Under 40 Award.
