ST. PAUL, Minn. – (November 7, 2013) – 3M ESPE announces that Kathy Gaertner has been promoted to Director of U.S. Marketing and Business Operations. In her new role, Gaertner will oversee 3M ESPE’s domestic marketing efforts, business operations and relationships with distributors.
“Kathy has been an indispensable member of the 3M ESPE management team for the past 15 years, and we are excited for her to apply her expertise in sales, marketing, management and key accounts to her new role,” said Mark Farmer, president, 3M ESPE. “Her leadership will undoubtedly help us continue living up to our goal of innovating to help dental professionals solve problems and find easier and better solutions for patients.”
Gaertner most recently served as 3M ESPE’s Direct Solutions Global Business Team Leader, overseeing one of the largest categories of 3M ESPE’s dental business, including blockbuster products such as 3M™ ESPE™ Filtek™ Supreme Ultra Universal Restorative and 3M™ ESPE™ Scotchbond™ Universal Adhesive.
Gaertner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota. At 3M ESPE, she has completed work as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt.
