Posted: November 1, 2013

Ivoclar Vivadent, makers of IPS e.max products, announced today that they have filed a patent-infringement lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware against Dentsply International Inc., Dentsply Prosthetics, and DeguDent GmbH. Ivoclar Vivadent asserts that Dentsply’s Celtra products infringe four patents issued in the United States covering lithium-silicate technologies that Ivoclar Vivadent developed.  Ivoclar Vivadent considers this technology and the patents protecting this technology very valuable and will remain resolute and active in enforcing its patents.
