US Made Quality and Innovation Continues at High Q

Posted: April 15, 2013

Lexington, Kentucky – From first year student to practices worldwide, the LED has revolutionized the way a dentist introduces light into the working field. US based manufacturer High Q, continues to advance this technology by introducing two new LED sources for the dental, medical and veterinary specialties.

“We’ve been designing, manufacturing and offering headlight illumination systems to the medical markets since 1971 and, through High Q, to the dental specialties since 1994. Since the introduction of the LED to the dental field, a plethora of systems have been introduced each one aiming to be smaller and lighter than the rest,” says Andy Cooper, High Q President.

While High Q offers small, lightweight, value oriented LED solutions, the company continues to be ahead of the curve by concentrating on quality, features, reliability and performance. As such, High Q is pleased to introduce the new C3 LED and the Beamer10-watt LED Light Source to dentistry.

“We entered the market in ‘94 with fiber optic and portable halogen solutions. Over the years we have placed these units in offices worldwide. The new C3 LED offers an option for those doctors with our Centauri Portable Halogen system to update that unit, affordably, from Halogen to LED while keeping all the features the Centauri delivers such as a clean, even field of light and true spot adjustability. Our clients who have continued to enjoy working with fiber optics can update those units moving from a halogen light source to the Beamer 10-watt LED Source increasing intensity, achieving a “whiter” field, and – with both the Centauri and Beamer – eliminating the cost of replacement lamps by moving to LED,” adds Mr. Cooper
