Introducing the New Hydrim G4 Instrument Washer

Posted: April 3, 2013
Canonsburg, Pennsylvania -- SciCan has set the benchmark for sterilization and instrument-reprocessing technology. For more than 20 years, SiCan has been developing and manufacturing highly innovative infection control products that address the need for versatility, flexibility and efficiency in today's environments.

SciCan is proud to unveil the newest Instrument Washer, the HYDRIM C61w G4. Instrument cleaning has never been faster or smarter. The touchscreen, internet-ready HYDRIM C61 w G4 instrument washer uses fresh water and cleaning solution for every cycle, ensuring superior washing results. Plus, the HYDRIM's unique combination of safety, efficiency and instrument protection can simplify reprocessing and maximize your return on investment.

Fast
The HYDRIM C61 w G4 has a six full-size cassette capacity, the largest of its kind, allowing offices to turnover 120 instruments in 35 minutes from start to dry.

Effective
The tabletop footprint allows for under-the-counter or countertop installation, allowing offices to have flexibility in maximizing their workspace in the reprocessing area. The time saved by automated washing compared to ultrasonic cleaning is approximately one hour of labor for every nine procedural set-ups. The increased efficiency translates to the HYDRIM C61 w G4 paying for itself in about 38 months.

Connected
Boasting the G4 technology, the HYDRIM C61 w G4 is capable of e-mailing anyone the office chooses, including Technical Service personnel. It also allows remote access for easy troubleshooting. The automatic user interface software upgrades ensures the user will always have access to the most recent version and features, such as instructional slideshows of routine maintenance procedures, updated screensaver images and more.

Serviceability
Designed from the ground up by SciCan engineers, the HYDRIM C61 w G4 encompasses over 10 years of experience in instrument washers. The modular design of the covers makes it easier to access specific components. The single screw type means it's only one type of screwdriver that is needed to remove the panels. Handles and bumpers facilitate the unit on its back to access all the critical components, located underneath the unit. The HYDRIM C61 w G4 was designed with the technician in mind.

This is a very exciting time for SciCan as we are embarking into new territory with cutting edge technology. SciCan has always demonstrated innovation and this is just another example of how we are setting new stands for infection control.
