Dr. Jason Jamali Joins University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry as Clinical Assistant

Dr. Jason Jamali, DDS, MD, has joined the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS).

 “My main responsibility is to treat patients with disorders of the head and neck and to teach residents and students the core principles and skills of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,” he explained. “I am interested in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. However, I am particularly interested in forming a team that will assess and treat patients with sleep apnea.”

Dr. Jamali received his MD degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and his DDS degree from Colombia University in New York. He recently completed his postgraduate residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Jamali’s clinical interests include dental implantology, maxillofacial trauma, craniofacial reconstruction, and orthognathic surgery
