Palm Beach Gardens, FL – (July 20, 2012) – BIOMET 3i is pleased to announce the appointment of Juliet
Johansson to the executive leadership team in the newly created position of Senior Vice President,
Global Commercial Business.
In this position, Juliet is responsible for all commercial activities and initiatives around the world,
overseeing three sales regions, the global marketing department and customer service. Juliet brings a
wealth of experience in senior level sales and marketing management, as well as in consulting roles as a
sales force and marketing effectiveness expert.
Juliet earned her undergraduate degree at Duke University, Cum laude in Economics and her MBA at the
University of Chicago, graduating with honors. She spent several years in various sales roles at two
international paper companies and then became a consultant with McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey,
she worked with both B2B and B2C companies developing and executing successful sales and marketing
strategies. She later joined Ryder Systems, a Fortune 500 logistics company, as Vice President of
Marketing for their $3 billion truck leasing and rental division. Here, Juliet was promoted to the Vice
President of National Sales. In 2010, Juliet joined The Blackstone Group as their Portfolio Operating
Advisor and Sales Force Effectiveness expert, spending the majority of her time working on sales
transformations in the medical device industry.
