Posted: December 18, 2001
A popular series of five technical papers on dental x-ray imaging are now available electronically from Kodak’s dental business website: http://www.kodak.com/go/dental. The publications are useful to dentists, dental hygienists and assistants, and dental students. They cover such topics as how to properly expose and process x-rays and how to troubleshoot common imaging problems.

The publications are available for download anytime. They may also be ordered, in limited quantities, as printed booklets through Kodak’s dental customer service and support group by phone via the toll-free U.S. dental help line, 800-933-8031, or by e-mail at dentline@kodak.com.

“These publications are invaluable to any dental professional who is responsible for a practice’s x-ray imaging,” said Bob Marcell, supervisor of customer service and sales support, Kodak’s dental business. “And like many corporations, we realized that our website allows us to raise our level of service. Now, thanks to this technology, anyone can download these publications, anytime, from anywhere in the world.”

Kodak’s dental business has also recently redesigned its website interface. The site features news and information about Kodak products and services, technical information and interviews with dental professionals and students.

The five technical publications now available for download are:

  • Successful Intraoral Radiography
  • Successful Panoramic Radiography
  • Exposure and Processing for Dental Radiography
  • Radiation Safety in Dental Radiography
  • Quality Assurance in Dental Radiography They are available in PDF format, and can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat, a free software application available from http://www.adobe.com/acrobat.

    About Kodak’s Dental Business
