3M ESPE Introduces New Paradigm™ LED Curing Light
The latest addition to the family of value products from a trusted dental company

ST. PAUL, Minn. – (October 19, 2011) – 3M ESPE is pleased to announce the expansion of its Paradigm™ brand, a family brand offering dental professionals dependable, competitively priced products with the standard features they rely on most. The latest Paradigm product – the Paradigm™ LED Curing Light – is a lightweight, high-intensity LED curing light, which expands the collection to yet another essential tool for daily clinical practice. This new light offers reliable and effective curing of resin-based adhesives, filling materials and cements.
Designed for efficiency, the simple, 2-button operation of the Paradigm light makes it easy to use and reliable for any dental practitioner. Its high performance Lithium-ion battery offers 60 minutes of cure time from full charge, and the wide 10mm light guide makes it possible to cure an entire cavity surface even in larger restorations in just one shot. The light provides a multiple-setting timer with preset cure times of 5, 10, 15 and 20 seconds as well as a continuous 120-second mode and a tack-cure mode to ensure predictable curing and easy removal of excess cured cement. Additionally, the durable resin housing is made of lightweight, high performance plastic while the ergonomic V-shape design of the light provides a comfortable grip for any technique.

The Paradigm light is the third product in the family brand joining Paradigm™ VPS Impression Material and Paradigm™ Nano Hybrid Universal Restorative, both of which launched earlier in 2011. Paradigm VPS impression material is well suited for all indications including crowns and bridges, bleaching trays, mouth guard trays, study models, and provisional and denture impressions. The product exhibits exceptional tear strength and its hydrophilicity helps produce void-free impressions with great detail. Additionally, the versatility and wide range of viscosities and setting times allow it to accompany a variety of individual techniques and procedures.
Paradigm Nano Hybrid restorative also offers an easy solution for everyday restorative material needs. Available in 12 shades, it is easy to polish and has excellent strength and wear resistance. Paradigm Nano Hybrid restorative is great for all indications including direct interior and posterior restorations, occlusal surfaces, core build-ups, splinting, and indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays and veneers.
