Tallahassee: -- The leadership of the National Association of Dental Laboratories and the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology are pleased to announce recognition of their management staff on a recent award. The Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce recently presented Partners In Association Management, the management firm for NADL and NBC with its 2004 Small Business of the Year Award, for companies with 10-49 employees. The award was presented during the Chamber's Small Business Excellence Awards Luncheon held on June 8, 2004 at the FSU University Center in Tallahassee, Florida. The Awards were judged on six criteria including human resources, community involvement, innovation and imagination, growth, stability and staying power, future vision and economic development activities.
Partners In Association Management was nominated in the Small Business of the Year in the 10-49 Employees category with thirteen other local businesses representing all aspects of the Tallahassee small business community. In total, sixty-two companies were nominated across all categories. Bennett Napier, CAE, co owner of the firm and co Executive Director of NADL accepted the award on behalf of the company staff.
The NADL and NBC have been managed by the Partners in Association Management since April 2001. A true cooperation between volunteer leadership and management staff exists which have resulted in increased association membership, an increased number of candidates seeking status as Certified Dental Technicians and increased attendance at association meetings.
