Dayton Daily News: VA Has Few Answers at Senate Hearing

DAYTON — A lack of accountability emerged as a key theme at a U.S. Senate field hearing Tuesday on the infection control scandal at the Dayton VA Medical Center dental clinic.
The 80-minute hearing was held at the medical center at 4100 W. Third St. At its outset, Sen. Sherrod Brown told more than 100 people he wanted to restore the public’s confidence in the VA sytem, ensure accountability for those responsible for “these horrific wrongs,” and “instill transparency as we move forward to ensure no veteran is ever treated with such blatant disregard.”
