Tallahassee, FL: The American Dental Association and the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology honor those Certified Dental Technicians, who in 2004 have achieved their 25th & 35th anniversary of service to the dental profession. ADA President Eugene Sekiguchi, D.D.S. said, “Organized dentistry has long supported the promotion and recognition of excellence in the field of dental care. Contributions by Certified Dental Technicians have been an important factor in the overall improvement of the nation’s dental health.”

The National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC) was formed in 1955 as an independent certification organization dedicated to improving the quality of dental laboratory technology through voluntary testing and certification of dental laboratory technicians. Over 6,000 professionals hold these credentials in one or more areas of specialty.
