Right-Curve™ Matrices Simplify Common Procedures

Right-Curve Tofflemire-style matrices simplify many common dental procedures. The portion of the matrix band that wraps around the tooth is significantly more curved than traditional matrices. When mounted in a retainer, this curvature creates a much narrower opening along the cervical edge and a wider opening on the occlusal edge.
The cervical seal is enhanced while the band reaches over to the adjacent tooth more easily. Broader, deeper contacts can be achieved.

Right-Curve bands are available in two styles, both having Garrison’s exclusive Slick Bands™ non-stick coating. The green bands are .0014” thin dead soft stainless steel and the gray bands are .0014” thin regular stainless steel. The regular bands (gray) are resistant to deformation during placement while the dead soft bands (green) are much more burnishable and are recommended for open contact areas. When used with composites, the Slick Bands coating virtually eliminates bonding agent and composite adhesion to the band greatly simplifying removal.

Right-Curve matrix bands come in individual packages of 100 or as part of the Comprehensive Slick Bands Kit. They can be purchased direct from Garrison Dental Solutions in the US or through dealers outside the US. Call 888-437-0032 or logon to www.garrisondental.com.
