The Dodge City Globe (Kansas): Oral Health Initiative Benefits Kansans

TOPEKA -- It is widely known that adequate dental care results in better public health outcomes across the board, resulting in a considerable savings in health care costs.
The Kansas Dental Association recently announced the Kansas Comprehensive Oral Health Initiative (SB 132), intended to provide preventive dental services, restore funding for the adult dental benefits through Medicaid, retool Medicaid dental benefits for children and help local communities attract new dental providers.
