Crosstex International, as part of its continuing expansion, has acquired a manufacturing facility in Sharon, Pennsylvania. The facility employs approximately 25 workers who will be responsible for the flexographic printing, laminating, and extrusion of materials used in the manufacturing of Crosstex Products. Gary Steinberg, Executive Vice President stated "the consolidation of these functions into one facility provides us with complete hands-on quality control of the components that go into the making of our products guaranteeing us that the products we manufacture will meet our stringent specifications. While vertical integration is critical to meeting our long term goals, equally important is our ability to diversify our product offering. The addition of this facility will allow us to do both."
The addition of this 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility provides Crosstex with four locations in the United States and, coupled with the recent New York expansion, has added a total of 75,000 square feet of Crosstex warehouse space. Within the last two months, Crosstex also acquired the SS White Burs, Inc. Latex Division and announced the formation of Crosstex Medical LLC.
